Unemployment continues to drop in Dodge and Jefferson counties
The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) released the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) estimates of unemployment and employment statistics for Wisconsin metropolitan areas, major cities and counties in Wisconsin for July 2020.
Preliminary July 2020 unemployment rates declined in all of Wisconsin’s 72 counties over the month.

Dodge County unemployment rate for July 2020: 6.9 percent, down from 7.4 percent in June.
Jefferson County unemployment rate for July 2020: 5.6 percent, down from 7.3 percent in June.
